Coloring has been shown to be a creative release while relieving stress. Seeing how all of us could use more relaxation in our lives this activity can be the daily uplifting reprieve we crave. Afterwards we benefit from a positive sense of well-being.
Studies also have shown journaling to be a introspective release. Many clients who have started a journaling routine into their lives have expressed and sense of grounding as a result. Getting our thoughts out and on to a page can be liberating and give us a lighter perspective.
Working with a select few institutions we are in the midst of a pilot program to see how both instructors and students respond to journaling and coloring in the classroom.
